The Holy Spirit is not a force or feeling—He is a Person. And because He loves us deeply and desires our hearts, we can grieve Him. How? Through sin and by conforming to the ways of the world. We must remember: the Holy Spirit is also God—holy and pure—and He does not overlook sin. So let us examine our hearts, turn from sin with genuine repentance, and humbly ask Him to fill us once more.
