Our God is a Sending God (Part 1 of 2)

Today on Live in the Light, Pastor Robbie Symons begins a new series: Life on Mission—From Saved to Sent. He starts by laying this fundamental foundation: Our God is a Sending God. In Genesis 12, we witness God sending Abram out to the land that He will show him. In sending Abram, God set in motion a movement that still shapes our calling today. We do not serve a stationary, passive or distant God—He is always on the move. If we are saved in Christ, then we are called to be on mission too. From Abraham to Moses to John the Baptist and the early disciples—God’s people have been created to be agents of his redemption. And that includes you, Christ-follower!
