In today’s episode, we’re unpacking a sobering warning from the apostle Peter about the danger of false teachers. These individuals are marked by pride, corruption, and a deep resistance to God’s authority. They speak boldly, but their words are empty—offering promises of freedom while they themselves remain enslaved to sin. They prey on the vulnerable, they are wolves in sheep's clothing and distort the truth to serve their purposes. Peter compares them to Balaam, a man driven by greed and spiritual compromise. Once exposed to the truth, they chose to walk away—and now they face the weight of judgment. Their influence is subtle but destructive, leading others down a path of deception and ruin. This message is a powerful call to stay spiritually alert and discerning. As believers, we must know God’s Word deeply and guard our hearts against those who twist it for personal gain. Join us as we explore this challenging passage and learn how to stand firm in truth, even when deception sounds convincing.
