Our world is full of deception and lies. Lies, especially about our God and His character. The world will lead you to believe blasphemy about God, that He is capable of wrong and evil against mankind. Christianity is shown in media as a source of hate and bigotry - but for this reason, God has given us His Word so we can cleanse ourselves of what is untrue. Today in James 1:16-18, we are called to not be deceived and to renew our minds of what is actually true. Our God is good, generous, reliable, faithful, truthful and unstoppable. All good things come from Him! Including every good thing we have on earth and the blessing of salvation through Jesus - the greatest gift. Our Father of Lights is unchanging, in the midst of a confused and ever-changing world. In love today, James reminds us what kind of God we serve.
