700 years before Jesus Christ was born, Isaiah foretold this incredible event. God's plan was that at just the right time, he would send us his son as a baby, born of a virgin. This baby would save us from death and separation from God, and bring us to everlasting life. Through the glory and miracle of the Incarnation, God displayed his absolute sovereignty, his incredible power and his amazing love for us - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son..."
