Today we begin a very special series expositing the greatest sermon ever given: the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus begins this message with the Beatitudes, the instructions for living a life that is blessed by God. Those who are born again and growing in sanctification recognize that as there is a decreasing focus and desire of self, and an increasing hunger for Christ and the Holy Spirit, true blessing will be found. We hear in this messge how being poor in spirit leads to richness of life.
