What is the basic, fundamental starting point for the church? Throughout his word, our Lord calls the church to be a household of godliness. His people are to have a passion for holiness, and for proclaiming and defending the truth. The true church stands on the word of God, our authority, and is called to declare the truth and proclaim Jesus Christ. Apart from the truth, there is no church.
