God is worthy of our very best—never just our leftovers. When we grow spiritually lazy or indifferent, our hearts become distracted and start to drift away from Him. This happened to the Israelites, who began focusing more on their hardships than on God Himself. As a result, He was no longer receiving the honour He deserved from His people. But the truth remains: we are most blessed when Christ is most honoured in our lives.
