Wealth is not sinful in and of itself. God blessed many of his faithful servants (consider Solomon) with a gift of wealth. But with this comes the added responsibility to steward wisely & generously. We can use wealth for kingdom purposes or for selfish purposes. The desire for money and possessions can soon turn into worship and idolatry, resulting in sin and a separation from God, In today's message, we examine the wisdom and warning concerning the love of wealth in chapter five of James' letter.
