Christ's birth over 2000 years ago is arguably the greatest event ever to take place in history. The Son of God left his mighty throne in heaven, to take on flesh and to be born into a fallen world. He lived a perfect life and suffered an excruciating death, but then, he was raised to life and now sits on his throne in heaven. Through his life, death and resurrection, Jesus brought peace to this world by providing a way for sinners to be reconciled to the Father. This is the reason we still celebrate his birth today - the day that God's love came down.
