Christ's birth over 2000 years ago is arguably the greatest event ever to take place in history. The Son of God left his mighty throne in heaven, to take on flesh and to be born into a fallen world. He lived a perfect life and died an excrutiating death, but then, he was raised to life and now sits on his throne in heaven. This is the reason we still celebrate his birth today - the day that God's love came down.
