Salvation frees us from the penalty of sin but the presence of sin is still a reality and a constant battle for all Christ-followers. If no longer enslaved to sin and freed from its power, we are to behave as those who are free. In today's text, the Lord commands us to 'let not' sin reign in our bodies. This means following the path of obedience and actively engaging in the ongoing fight against sin by making choices that honour God. We are temples of the Holy Spirit, purchased by the blood of Christ and called to be holy!
