The Holy Spirit is a Person. We can and do grieve the Holy Spirit. Why? Because He loves us so much and wants our hearts. How do we do this? By our sin, by living like the world. Remember, He is also God. He does not tolerate sin. We must search our hearts for sin, repent with tears, and beg Him to fill us again.
