As we grow in our Christian walk, awareness of the extent of our sinful nature is heightened. In today's passge, Paul agonizes and distresses over his own battle with sin. But he does not lose heart! Instead, Paul encourages us to let this awareness bring us to conviction, brokenness and repentance before the Lord and through this, our tolerance of sin is reduced and maturity of our faith is increased.
